Matthew Rivard, Head of Performance Advertising at Google Canada manages a group dedicated to helping online business in Canada thrive. His mission is to help put Canada on the map in terms of global leadership in e-commerce & marketing innovation. Rivard joined Google in 2010 and has held a variety of roles from research to sales. Prior to Google he worked in both Engineering and product development roles at a major telecommunications provider. Matthew graduated from the University of Western with a BESc in Software Engineering.
