What is Direct Marketing?
Direct Marketing encompasses any marketing technique that affords institutions to communicate(i.e. market) in a targeted or personalized fashion (i.e. direct) with a customer.
We often speak in terms of “traditional” and “digital”, but the fact is these are all great tools to help any marketer do their job more effectively and efficiently.

It’s all about doing more business with more people. Direct Marketing is channel-agnostic, meaning it can include any technique or medium. Unique to Direct Marketing is its call to action, as well as its measurable results. As such, Direct Marketing is also referred to as Direct Response.
