Geoff has been involved in the interactive media industry for over 10 years; for 6 of those years he was President and Lead Digital Strategist for Lifecapture Interactive in Toronto. Lifecapture was a digital marketing agency built on a an amazing team who won clients ranging from Alliance Films, Presidents Choice, CBC, Corus, Rexall Pharma Plus, Roots and others. Lifecapture won Profit Hot 50 Fastest Growing Companies in Canada in 2006 and 2007
In March 2009 Lifecapture was sold to Venture Communications, which is owned by Arlene Dickinson of the Dragons Den. Geoff took on the role of Interactive Director. Clients included: Warner Music, Alliance Films, Virgin Mobile, Rexall Pharma Plus, Toyota, Husky Mohawk, and others.
In 2010, he was hired by Research in Motion to lead Social Media Globally as the Director of Social Media Marketing where he was responsible for helping an amazing team expand the BlackBerry Brand in a new channel and help to bring in social media policy globally while introducing projects like; BlackBerry Digital Life, Advanced Social Media Measurement and The Toronto International Film Festival on Facebook via Blackberry where it was live streamed to Blackberry Facebook fans world wide.
Over the past years he has participated in many organizations that foster the interactive industry and work to understand the online consumer base: A few to mention are, the board of directors for Interactive Ontario and an advisor of the OMDC, Bell Fund and the IAB and the CRTC. He has taken part in many events as a speaker and contributor, Interactive events like ICE, FITC, CMA, and others.
in 2012, Geoff joined forces with Direct Response Media Group to create an integrated agency for the digital age; Surround Integrated Marketing. Specializing in Social Media and Content Marketing as strongly integrated components of the marketing mix.
